About Us:
Providence Dental Arts is a brand-new, state-of-the-art dental practice opening in Fairfax, VA. We focus on delivering high-quality, advanced digital dentistry in a modern, welcoming, and high-tech environment. We are gearing up for our grand opening and are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our foundational team and help us build an exceptional patient experience from day one.
The Role:
As the first face our patients see, you will play a critical role in setting the tone for our practice. Because we utilize top-tier automated software for administrative tasks, you will be able to focus your energy where it matters most: patient communications, schedule management, and ensuring our front office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and check in patients as they arrive. Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the active schedule to minimize gaps. Utilize Curve Dental's Eligibility Plus software to seamlessly pull automated insurance breakdowns (including PPOs and Medicaid). Interpret insurance coverage details and confidently explain treatment plans and out-of-pocket costs to patients. Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial and patient records. Coordinate smoothly with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient flow.
Qualifications:
Language:
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is strongly preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in a dental front office is highly desired.
Tech-Savvy:
Must be comfortable using modern, cloud-based practice management software. (We use Curve Dental—experience with it is a major plus, but we will train the right tech-friendly candidate!).
Skills:
Exceptional communication, strong organizational skills, and a warm, professional demeanor.
