Swihart Orthodontics is hiring and we're looking for an exceptional Financial Coordinator to join our team! What You'll Do As our Financial Coordinator, you will play a key role in both the patient experience and the financial health of the practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating and presenting customized financial arrangements in collaboration with the Orthodontist Clearly explaining treatment and payment plans prior to treatment Maintaining current knowledge of the Fair Credit Standards Act and ensuring compliance Managing and updating third-party financing programs and credentials Monitoring and collecting patient payments, including auto payments Assisting with insurance collections alongside the Insurance Coordinator Reviewing and maintaining monthly accounts receivable reports with the Orthodontist Supporting front office operations, including scheduling appointments and processing payments Assisting with patient phone calls and providing excellent customer service Representing the practice in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner at all times Managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Collaborating with team members while also working independently when needed Performing additional duties as assigned Who We're Looking For We're searching for someone who brings both skill and personality to the role: At least 2 years of financial experience, with strong knowledge of accounts receivable Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment A positive attitude with a strong team-first mindset (no drama, just collaboration!) Comfortable working behind the scenes while contributing to the overall patient experience Willingness to learn and grow within the practice Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus but not absolutely required. Although preferred, we value personality and attitude over dental experience.
