Job Description

Our client, a busy medical office in Newport News, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays an important part in delivering a positive patient experience while ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Schedule:
Full-time, In-Office, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday availability may be required for additional scheduling.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments Verify patient information and update records as needed Collect payments, process copays, and maintain accurate documentation Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally Support office staff with general administrative duties Required Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or customer service role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with computer systems and data entry High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality Why Work With PeopleShare?
