Job Description

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
Busy medical practice is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and customer service oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience and a professional, friendly demeanor when assisting patients in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, greeting patients, verifying insurance information, processing referrals, collecting copays and outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate patient records in the EMR system. Candidates should be comfortable handling a fast paced front desk, managing multiple tasks efficiently, and communicating clearly with patients, providers, and staff. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent service in a busy healthcare environment are essential. Experience with referrals, collections, and electronic medical records is preferred. $16.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

This combination of services allows you a comprehensive medical evaluation with a minimum of visits. Our Staff The staff working with the physicians includes registered nurses, registered medical laboratory technologists, a registered bmd technician, medical assistants, medical secretaries, medical receptionists and business office personnel .
