Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk professional with prior dental front desk experience to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your expertise in dental office procedures and exceptional customer service skills will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining efficient clinic workflows. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule patient appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries with thorough understanding of health insurance policies including Medicare and Medicaid Review and update patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with documentation review, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical billing procedures to support accurate recordkeeping Manage multi-line phone systems, handle appointment rescheduling, patient inquiries, and appointment confirmations via phone etiquette Maintain organized filing of medical records, insurance documents, and office supplies to support clinic operations Requirements Proven dental front desk experience in a busy dental or medical office environment Strong knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms like Meditech or eClinicalWorks Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and health insurance processes including verification and claims processing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and communication tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; bilingual abilities are a plus Strong computer skills including typing (10 key typing), data entry, and managing electronic health records (EHR systems) Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies Office management skills including scheduling, filing, phone communication, and administrative support in a healthcare setting Join our team if you're passionate about delivering outstanding patient service while supporting efficient clinic operations!
