Full Job Description Job Summary:
Our pediatric dental office is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and positive Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for our patients. You will assist with scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining accurate records while helping create a friendly and supportive environment for both patients and staff. Our mission is to provide every patient with a positive experience, and we pride ourselves on fostering an enjoyable workplace.
Duties:
Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar Greet patients warmly and provide necessary paperwork Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Coordinate with providers to ensure timely delivery of patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic systems Process insurance claims and verify patient coverage Assist with billing and payment collection Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
Additional Information:
Practice hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation based on experience and skill level Position available immediately Thank you for your interest—we look forward to hearing from you!
