Primary Responsibilities Insurance Billing:

Scrub and submit electronic claims Review and resolve clearinghouse rejections Review and resolve claim denials Submit appeals as needed Manage authorizations and submit requests as needed Post insurance payments Apply patient payments Monitor aging accounts Work with families to resolve outstanding balances Maintain payment plans when needed Generate superbills Answer billing questions from families Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

Front Office Duties:

Welcome and greet families Keep lobby tidy Make sure our clients feel heard and that their concerns will be addressed Answer Phones Minimal scheduling help Scan/Fax records Other light office duties

Qualifications:

Outstanding communication skills Must be extremely detail oriented Ability to multi-task & problem solve Excellent organizational skills Experience with medical billing preferred Strong computer skills Friendly, professional, and enjoys working with children Comfortable working around children with developmental needs This position combines medical billing with front office responsibilities. Our primary scheduler works from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and serves as the main receptionist during those hours. You'll work closely with our supportive Office Administrator and receive thorough training until you're comfortable handling all aspects of the position. We are a well established & respected privately owned clinic with two locations. You will be at our Maple Valley clinic. Claims are submitted accurately and promptly Denials are resolved efficiently Payments are posted accurately Patient balances remain current Problems are identified before they become larger issues Takes ownership of problems and follows them through to resolution Processes continually improve as insurance practices inevitably change Clients greeted cheerfully

Hours:

Full time, 10:00am - 6:00pm M-F Part time applicants will be considered, but availability until 6:00pm M-F is required.

Pay:
