We are a small multi-disciplinary specialty office needing an outgoing, motivated, organized, and dependable team player, who is great with people. Must have a working knowledge of standard medical office functions, insurance verification and prior authorizations. We offer growth within the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serves as the primary contact for patient check-in and check-out
  • Prepares for appointments by proactively verifying necessary demographic information, insurance, eligibility, referral or authorization status
  • Completes patient registration
  • Collects copayments and outstanding balances
  • Communicates any necessary follow up instructions at the end of the appointment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent customer service, organization, and the ability to multi-task
  • Availability to assist in other departments as needed
  • Knowledge of health insurance preferred -Knowledge of insurance creditialing a plus!
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
