Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic Audiology practice as a receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, handle medical records, and support the smooth operation of our medical practice. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will ensure an exceptional patient experience while maintaining efficient office workflows. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment at the front desk Schedule appointments accurately using Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification Collect patient information, update medical records, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; handle inquiries promptly and courteously Maintain organized filing of medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as intake procedures, data entry, and appointment reminders Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing or scheduling issues Experience Previous clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred Experience with insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid is advantageous Spanish speaking is highly desirable Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone manner and excellent interpersonal communication Proficiency with typing Office management or clerical experience supporting front desk operations in a healthcare setting is beneficial Join us in delivering compassionate care while supporting the administrative backbone of our healthcare practice!
