Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, SC is a therapist owned practice headquartered in Appleton, WI and currently has 30locations in central and northeastern Wisconsin, industrial medicine contracts and offers sports medicine services to area schools, with over 140 employees. Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine has been recognized by the APTA as Private Practice of the Year. Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine has an opportunity for a float Medical Receptionist .

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with benefit verifications
  • Assist with authorizations
  • Maintain medicare tracking clean up
  • Run/Maintain various reports (guarantor, minors turning 18, etc.)
  • Interact with families and patients as well as fellow employees with respect and a desire to help achieve the highest level of quality possible
  • Check in patients using EMR system, assist them with any paperwork they may have
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Call on referrals from physicians
  • Set patient up in Outcome Measure System
  • Call on patient benefits
  • Conduct prior authorization requests, follow up on requests
