Job Description

Dental Receptionist (2+ Years' Experience) Energetic, fast paced dental office seeking an Experienced Dental Receptionist who can take over the administrative tasks involved with coordinating patient and dentist schedules as well as file management and office organization. We are looking for a professional who understands the value of compassionate service. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attendance record, ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently, detailed, organized, and a willingness to learn many job functions. This position is best suited to an individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Answering multi-line phone system Appointing patients Outgoing phone calls to schedule patients, appointment reminder calls Greeting patients upon arrival, obtain necessary data from patient Process patient payments/co-pays and insurance claims Data entry into practice management software Follow up on outstanding accounts receivables / creating financial payment plans for treatment In return we offer: 36-40 hr/wk; pd vac, hol, sick, 401(k), and flex plans. Experience in busy medical, chiropractic, or dental offices preferred but will train the right applicant. Comfort with computer data entry essential.
