As the Front Desk Receptionist, you are not simply greeting patients, you are the face of our clinic, the first and lasting impression of the care, professionalism, and compassion we provide. We are seeking a poised, polished, and highly professional individual who takes pride in both their appearance and their role as a key presence of our practice. The ideal candidate brings a warm, welcoming presence paired with impeccable personal presentation, setting the tone for our patients' experience the moment they walk through our doors. Highly valued candidates will have the following: Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment Efficient and organized Reliable and punctual Strong communication skills Problem solving skills individually and in a group setting Strong patient/customer service skills Ability to work well as a team player with patient care as the first priority Demonstrates cultural competence with patients and staff. Open to continuous learning to build effectiveness with psychiatric patient population. Be able to work independently and prioritize with minimal direction Main job duties will include but are not limited to: Welcome and check in patients with warmth and efficiency Manage scheduling needs and coordinate appointments using our electronic systems Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information Manages patient visit according to clinic standards anticipating provider needs and working with Support Team to improve quality and efficiency of patient visit Obtaining revenue by collecting patient charges and assisting the billing specialist with collections/patient statements Honors patients' right to privacy and confidentiality. Adheres to strict patient, customer and business confidentiality standards. Calls outside agencies for medical records and reports when needed Professional and courteous phone interactions Triaging the patient phone calls Verifying past histories Other applicant requirements include: Proficiency in medical terminology is a must. Office experience and computer knowledge required. Highly Organized individuals preferred. Minimum of 2 yrs. experience preferred, 1 year required. Starting salary of $19 per hour depending on experience level.
