Medical Receptionist - Dermatology Practice in
Oshkosh, WI Employment Type:
Full-time ( Approximately 36 hours per week) About the Role Are you a high-energy professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume, medical environment? Our clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to provide top-tier service to our patients. In this role, you are the face of our practice ensuring every patient visit is efficient, professional, and compassionate. Key Responsibilities Obtain and review appropriate paperwork for each patient visit Enter patient demographic and insurance information into EHR Review insurance cards and collect copays Answer multi-line phone Schedule patient appointments in EHR via phone, referrals, and in person Type detailed messages for physician review Daily chart preparation Filing Light housekeeping
What We're Looking For Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred; dermatology experience is a significant plus.
Skills:
Proficiency with EHR systems, health insurance, medical terminology knowledge, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Aptitude:
Ability to prioritize and handle frequent interruptions while maintaining a calm, pleasant demeanor in a high stress, fast-paced environment. Must be a team player.
