May Vision Center is a team of Optometric professionals who meet the eye care needs for the people of WI. We are a technologically advanced eyecare clinic that offers specialty services to our patients. We have a highly trained, collaborative team of Optometrists who are allied health professionals. Our goal is to WOW every patient every time! The customer experience is the most important thing to us. Duties will include greeting and working directly with patients, Helping to pick out glasses and recommend lenes that are prescribed by the Dr. You will adjust and dispense glasses and assist the patient to fulfill their needs. You will also learn to answer multi-line phone system and help with general patient flow. Experience not necessary, will train the right candidate. Customer service skills a MUST. Candidate will be required to work Tuesday evening until 6:30pm. Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care
- Assist patient with selection of eyewear and lenses
- Perform basic medical office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Preform adjustments and repairs to glasses
- Dispense and adjust glasses to patient
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation purposes
- Provide support to patients
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology and optometry(Desired but Will train )
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records
