Full-Time Ophthalmic Medical Assistant /
Scribe Location:
Wolf Eye Center Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Range:
$19.00 - $25.00 / hour (commensurate with experience and certification) Are you looking to build a rewarding career in healthcare with a supportive, high-performing team? Wolf Eye Center has an amazing opportunity for a motivated full-time Ophthalmic Medical Assistant / Scribe to join our team! We are a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to a practice culture of attentive excellence for both our staff and our patients. While prior medical field experience is preferred, we are happy to train the right person who brings enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities Doctor Assistance:
Work alongside physicians to support patient exams, clinical tests, and in-office procedures.
Exam Documentation:
Serve as a scribe, accurately capturing and entering exam details into patient records in real time.
Clinical Prep:
Prepare, sanitize, and stock exam rooms to maintain a seamless daily workflow.
Patient Care:
Provide a welcoming, supportive environment and deliver top-tier service at every touchpoint.
Qualifications Customer Service:
Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first mindset.
Medical Terminology:
Basic knowledge of medical terms is helpful, though not strictly required.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to listen closely, multitask, and record precise information during fast-paced clinical exams.
Reliability:
Dependable and ready to work our standard schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM).
