  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Scribe (in-person) to support healthcare providers in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.
Must be an LPN or Medical Assistant. The Medical Scribe plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, assisting providers with clinical workflow, and maintaining comprehensive electronic medical records. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care. Key Responsibilities Document patient encounters in real time during outpatient clinic visits. Accurately record patient histories, chief complaints, review of systems, physical examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans as directed by the provider. Enter clinical information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system with accuracy and efficiency. Transcribe diagnostic reports, laboratory results, referrals, and other clinical documentation as required. Assist providers with chart preparation, organization, and completion of medical records. Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with clinic standards. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to support efficient patient care.
  • Skills:
  • Current LPN licensure
  • Experience in pulmonary and priamry care
  • Familiarity with pulmary function testing
  • Proficiency in ICD-10 coding
  • Strong understanding of infection control principles
  • Ability to work in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
