Major Duties, Responsibilities Performs a variety of clerical and office tasks, including entering and retrieving data from computer database programs, maintaining filing systems, compiling data and preparing reports; receiving money and entering receipts; handling incoming phone calls and assisting visitors; keeping account and other office records; proofreading and coding; and coordinating flow of clerical work with that of other departments and agencies. Handles public and agency requests for records information, both by telephone and in person. Classifies reports, sorts, and analyzes information, compiles statistics, verifies information, and builds and maintains statistical data. May perform special project research and analysis as assigned. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
