In this vital role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters, manage electronic health records (EHR), and support clinical operations. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness in real-time. Assist healthcare providers with documenting medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Manage and update patient medical records with precision, maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Support the collection of patient information through effective interaction and communication, ensuring clarity and thoroughness in medical documentation. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately interpret provider notes and transcribe complex medical information. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient data and following confidentiality protocols diligently. Utilize EMR/EHR systems efficiently for managing electronic health records, including scheduling, note-taking, and data entry tasks. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or as a medical scribe, with familiarity using EMR/EHR systems. Strong transcription skills with excellent typing speed and accuracy. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical documentation standards. Experience adhering to HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Exceptional writing skills for clear, concise, and accurate medical documentation. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior emergency room or clinical experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
