Qualifications Proven experience in medical office settings as a medical scribe is required ; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures to ensure precise documentation. Excellent transcription skills combined with fast typing speed to support real-time note-taking during patient encounters. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Prior experience with electronic health records management tools such as EMR or EHR systems is required. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy.
