The ideal candidate will possess strong transcription skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Cardiology Medical Scribe will work closely with physicians to ensure precise and comprehensive documentation, enabling efficient clinical workflows and improved patient outcomes. Duties Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in real-time documentation. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to input, update, and manage patient data securely and efficiently. Assist physicians by capturing vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information during consultations. Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies. Support the documentation of diagnostic procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions with clarity and precision. Demonstrate physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately interpret clinical findings and assist in detailed note-taking. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline documentation processes, reducing charting time while maintaining quality standards. Apply strong typing skills to ensure swift and accurate transcription during busy clinic hours, including emergency room situations when necessary. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or as a medical scribe is highly preferred. Proficiency in transcription, with excellent typing speed and accuracy. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy to facilitate precise documentation. Strong understanding of medical records management, including confidentiality protocols and legal considerations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with physicians, staff, and patients.
