The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our medical practice by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical documentation systems. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and precise medical records. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe patient encounters during examinations and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Document medical histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans as dictated by the physician. Ensure that all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with legal and ethical standards. Assist in maintaining organized medical documentation within the office. Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline workflows and improve patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy. Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage. Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate transcription. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
