Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe and Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key support for physicians and medical staff by accurately transcribing patient encounters, managing electronic health records (EHR), and assisting with medical documentation. Your energetic approach will ensure seamless clinical workflows, uphold patient confidentiality, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed physician-patient interactions in real-time, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently, maintaining up-to-date patient information Assist with medical office tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and organizing medical documentation Support physicians during patient examinations by preparing charts, documenting vital signs, and noting relevant clinical information Achieve HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient privacy and adhering to all clinical confidentiality policies Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to accurately interpret clinical notes and assist with record-keeping Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers through effective documentation and data entry Skills Proficiency in medical transcription with excellent typing speed and accuracy Strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures Experience with medical office operations and administrative support in healthcare settings Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance by protecting sensitive patient information at all times Excellent written communication skills for precise documentation of clinical encounters Familiarity with emergency room procedures or emergency room experience is a plus for handling urgent situations effectively Join us to be part of a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills make a real difference!
