Job Description

1. Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms 2. Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart 3. Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant and transcribe patient appointments Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required. 6. Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame. 7. Manage stress appropriately. 8. Handle multiple priorities.. 9. Greets patients, customers and visitors correctly, pleasantly and in a timely manner. 10. Assists/directs patients and customers with questions 11. Demonstrates ability to perform job responsibilities as appropriate to the needs of the population(s) served in terms of age, gender, socio-economic status, ethnicity/culture, language, health status, housing status, health care utilization patterns and within compliance of laws and regulations. 12.
