Job Description

Seeking a medical scribe with a passion for the field of medicine and high-quality patient care. This position provides clinical support to the physician throughout a patient's visit including documenting patient exams in the electronic health record, noting specifically the exam components, diagnoses, treatment plans, orders and medications. An ideal candidate would strive to become the physician's right hand.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in grammar and spelling.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to handle all responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Office and clerical knowledge, including computer efficiency (Typing 35 WPM).
  • Excellent attendance required.
  • Scribing experience helpful, and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • 1-2 years in an outpatient clinic preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
