Full-Time (Part-Time Considered) About the Position We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG/IMG) to join our growing medical practice as a Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant . This role is ideal for an international medical graduate who is looking to gain valuable U.S. clinical experience, strengthen medical documentation skills, and work closely with a physician in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The successful candidate will assist with patient care, medical documentation, and administrative tasks while developing an in-depth understanding of U.S. healthcare workflows. Responsibilities Medical Scribe Duties Document patient encounters in real time using the electronic medical record (EMR). Prepare accurate histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans for physician review. Update patient charts, medication lists, and laboratory/imaging results. Assist with chart preparation and completion of clinical documentation. Medical Assistant Duties Room patients and obtain medical history. Record medical histories and chief complaints. Prepare examination rooms and assist with office procedures. Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments. Educate patients on physician instructions and treatment plans. Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited international medical school. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Strong medical terminology and clinical knowledge. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. Professional demeanor and compassionate patient care. Preferred Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG/IMG). Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR). Prior experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or in a clinical setting. ECFMG certification and/or completion of USMLE Step 1 or Step 2 CK is a plus but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
