Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with excellent transcription skills and experience working within electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while contributing to high-quality patient care. Duties Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers by capturing real-time information related to patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Navigate and utilize various EMR and EHR systems efficiently to input, update, and retrieve patient data. Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards. Support physicians in managing documentation workflows to optimize clinic efficiency and reduce administrative burden. Demonstrate a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to accurately interpret clinical information. Ensure all documentation adheres to legal, ethical, and institutional standards for medical records management. Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate seamless communication and accurate record-keeping during patient visits. Skills Exceptional transcription skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred. Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures. Excellent typing speed coupled with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation swiftly. Familiarity with medical records management protocols and compliance standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic clinical setting while maintaining accuracy. Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting team operations.
