Medical Scribe Premier Medical of SC Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time $17 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Patient flow optimization Phone communication Computer literacy English Physical examinations Administrative experience Medical administrative support Patient interaction Medical terminology Technical Proficiency Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Job Summary Responsibilities include: Accurately documenting encounters in the electronic health records system Provide advanced support to providers, including documenting phone calls, alerting the physician with labs/radiology reports are complete, grabbing faxes, etc. Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical record Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians professionally Completing all administrative tasks efficiently Helping electronically prescribe medication for patients This position is essential in ensuring that accurate medical records are maintained, contributing significantly to the quality of patient care within our organization.
Qualifications:
Medical Terminology Recognition of the physical exam process and ability to record exam details. Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications. Organizational skills with a focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow. Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing. Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and peers.
