Position Summary:
Join our growing dermatology team! We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe who is compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We have an upcoming position one day in our Lehi location and 3 days in our Provo location. As a Medical Assistant/Scribe, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting our providers throughout the patient experience.Responsibilities include:
- Room patients, obtain medical histories, and accurately update electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist providers during patient examinations and in-office procedures.
- Document provider notes and patient encounters accurately and efficiently as a medical scribe.
- Communicate laboratory, pathology, and biopsy results to patients under provider direction.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms to ensure efficient patient care.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and procedure trays.
- Create and manage clinical tasks while documenting patient communications in the EMR.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to foster a positive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR certification required upon hire.
