Job Description

Position Summary:
Our Dermatology department has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe. This position will be for our Provo location. Essential Job Functions:
Some of the duties specific to this position are to assist with patient care examination and related tasks:
  • Escorts patients to examination rooms, interviews patient and ensures all pertinent information is recorded and available to the provider.
  • Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment.
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures.
  • Calls results and relays messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions.
  • Assist provider with in-office procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Past experience as an MA or MA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology is very beneficial.
  • Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional.
  • Be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
  • CPR certification required upon hire
Hours:
Mondays through Fridays, 4 days a week.
