Scottsboro, AL At Cloverdale Rehab & Wellness Center, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care with the warmth and comfort of true Southern hospitality. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medication Aide Certified MAC to join our team. As a Medication Aide Certified MAC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administering medications to patients as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professionals Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to healthcare staff Assisting with vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature checks Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration Collaborating with healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
Current Medication Aide Certification Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
