Job Description

$500 Sign-on BONUS! Paradise Valley Senior Living is looking for AZ State certified Med Techs to join our team!
MEDICATION TECHNICIANS
Weekend Differential:
Applicable for weekend-only staff +$0.50
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed Ensure clients receive their medication on time Lift and/or transfer residents as needed. Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to resident, and other dining related responsibilities; record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor. Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc. Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc). Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Resident Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.
Work Schedule:
Sunday
  • Thursday OR Tuesday
  • Saturday First shift: 7:00 am
  • 3:00 pm
Second Shift:
3:00 pm-11:00 pm
NOC:
11:00 pm-7:00 am
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Caregiver. Arizona Certification will be checked with State registry Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Med Tech Current Fingerprint Clearance card Current Food handler's card/certification Memory Care Certification Current TB test Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR/First aid certification Must be able to pass a drug test Speak, read, and understand the English language Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills A positive and compassionate attitude Physical stamina High school diploma or equivalent Why join us?
