CPR Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to residents. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to assist and ensure the well-being of residents. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare professionals in performing physical examination like checking blood pressure if needed, First Aide. No Medical procedures. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to healthcare providers Maintain accurate medical documentation and records Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Provide support and assistance to patients and their families during difficult times, such as hospice care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical technician program is preferred Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Experience in caregiving or patient care roles is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess a valid CPR and First Aid Certification according to state regulations.
