Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Medication Technician to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Your commitment to maintaining the dignity and rights of residents will be paramount as you help them with daily activities and ensure their well-being. Duties Administer medications per Doctors orders Communicate with Doctors regarding changes in conditions, new orders, etc Communicate with Family members regarding changes in conditions, new orders, etc. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to nursing staff. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation. Support individuals with dementia care, employing techniques that enhance their comfort and safety. Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting independence. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans that meet individual needs. Assist clients with mobility and transportation as required. Skills certified Medication Technician training Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Experience in assisted living or caregiving environments is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care techniques to effectively support clients with cognitive impairments. Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs. Strong observational skills for monitoring patient health and behavior changes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for clients' needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
