Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable MedTech to provide high-quality care and support to residents. In this essential role, you will assist with daily living activities, support overall well-being, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to enhancing residents' quality of life. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact while working alongside a dedicated and supportive care team. Candidates must be willing and able to perform both medication administration and hands-on caregiving duties, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, as part of a collaborative care team.

NOC Shift:
10:00pm-6:30am (Full-time) Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene Observe and report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or needs to appropriate staff Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, community policies, and Title 22 regulations Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration (right resident, right medication, right dose, right time, right route, right documentation) at all times Ensure medications are stored, secured, and handled properly in compliance with regulatory requirements Verify and maintain accurate and current Medication Administration Records (MARs) Document all medication administration and report any errors or discrepancies immediately per protocol Provide support for residents with memory care needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with community standards Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents Follow individualized care plans and established procedures Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times Skills Proven experience in senior care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or retirement communities Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately Effective time management and task prioritization Strong observation and reporting skills Calm and appropriate response in emergency situations Attention to detail and accurate documentation practices Understanding of safety procedures and infection control practices Reliable, professional, and adaptable in a team environment Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care techniques Ability to assist with activities of daily living with compassion and patience Excellent communication skills when interacting with residents, families, and team members Ability to safely operate mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts First Aid certification is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
