PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Accepts and documents new medications brought into the community per policy. Safely prepares and assists resident with medication administration. Maintains accurate medication documentation and records. Complete the three (3) checks of the 6 (six) rights. Responds to on-site emergencies with the emergency response team. Takes vital signs as indicated. Provides personal escort services to resident as requested. Conducts welfare checks on residents as directed. Keeps supervisor informed of residents' status, significant changes in condition. Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed. Provides clerical support and receptionist services for department as needed. Participate in disaster preparedness and other community wide activities as directed. Other duties as assigned by Department Director.
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor. A minimum of six months experience as a Medication Technician in a Senior Living Community or Pharmacy Technician certification. Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification required. Current CNA certification a plus. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
