QMAP PRN

(Overnight) to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist with medication administration, resident care, and ensuring safety during overnight hours. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately following physician orders, including oral, topical, and other forms of medication. Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health status during overnight shifts. Assist residents with personal care needs such as mobility, hygiene, and comfort. Document all medication administration and resident interactions clearly in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and protect resident confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to ensure residents' safety and well-being throughout the night. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is essential. Certification as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or similar state certification required; must meet State Board of Nursing standards. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of care. Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with state healthcare laws.
