Qualified Medication Administration Personnel

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Lennox Guest Home (Assisted Living facility) ((Weekdays & Weekends-6am to 2 pm or 2pm to 10pm). The ideal candidate will assist in the administration of medication to residents and provide safe care to residents in the facility. Duties

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare provider
• Document medication administration and resident's response accurately
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and work area
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Qualifications
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in assisted living facility settings is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and common medications
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Cerner
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Certification as a Medication Aide in the state of practice
• Ability to provide compassionate care to residents with memory care needs, including dementia care

Pay:

$19.00
