, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the medications they need, while working as part of a caring and supportive team. What You'll Do:
Administer medications to residents as per their individual care plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed schedules. Monitor and document residents' responses to medications, reporting any concerns or changes to the nursing team. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications , maintaining a safe and compliant medication management system. Assist with resident care , including providing support with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed. Collaborate with the care team to ensure that residents' needs are met and that all care protocols are followed. Follow all safety and regulatory standards , maintaining a safe, clean, and organized medication administration environment. Provide accurate and timely documentation of medication administration and any observations related to residents' health or behavior.
What We're Looking For:
Current QMAP certification in good standing with the state. Previous experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail , with the ability to accurately administer medications and maintain records. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to enhance the lives of seniors. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
