) Overview The Oaks by Windham formally known as (Oaks at Lake Wildwood), seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and assisting with daily living activities in a supportive environment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the well-being of individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and other care settings. Responsibilities Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical guidelines. Monitor and document residents' vital signs and health status, reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation. Provide support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Skills Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of working with individuals with senior care, hospice care, dementia care, and caregiving is beneficial. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Quickmar Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation practices, vital signs monitoring, and patient care protocols. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of patient care.
