Full-time Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Wellness Director in maintaining resident medication and medical records in compliance with policies and state regulations. This candidate will report directly to the Wellness Director. What Prema at Suwanee Creek LLC ("Prema")

Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must pass a satisfactory criminal record check. Must undergo a physical exam by a licensed physician. Must pass a negative drug screen. Must hold CPR, First Aid certification, and must hold an active Georgia Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certificate. Must dress in professional attire. Must have effective communication skills to interact with residents, families, supervisors, the Wellness Director, and the Executive Director. A clean driving record. Must be aware of the risks associated with exposure to infectious waste, diseases, chemicals, solutions, and disinfectants. Must be able to react effectively in emergency situations. Proficient with technology and computers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the Wellness Director in checking in new cycles of medications every 14 days. Maintain medication carts, including PRN medications and creams, on a biweekly basis. Perform a daily check of the medication reorder sheet. Coordinate with vendors ordering of supplies. Conduct weekly audits of the Medication Administration Record (MAR) for missing initials or signatures and communicate any issues to the Wellness Director. Develope monthly Memory Care activity calendar, and ensure staff are executing the activities as scheduled. Work closely with the Assisted Living Lifetyle Director to plan and execute community events. Job Description Notify Wellness Director of medication order changes immediately following any visits with outside providers. Send a copy of the medication list with residents when they have a doctor's appointment. Answer phone calls as needed and assist at the front desk by greeting guests, residents, vendors, and deliveries as needed. Participate in orientation for new hires. Maintain personal records of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and initial/annual training requirements per community policy. Manage care staff scheduling and handle any shift changes as needed. Replenish copies of forms such as shower, laundry, and pager logs. Take on-call duties per rotation. Assist with tours when needed. Ability to drive the company vehicle and transport residents as required. Plan, oversee and/or assist with resident activities as needed. Serve as liaison for resident and family concerns for your assigned neighborhood. Follow up with staff on resident service plans to ensure continued compliance. Other primary responsibilities are required for this role as requested by the Wellness Director and/or the Executive Director.
Physical Job Demands and Requirements:
Assist in the transfer of residents, adhering to proper body mechanics and safety measures. Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Frequently kneel, bend, and reach. Sit for up to two hours a day.
