This does include every other weekend and holidays. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring residents' health, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, providing them with safe, respectful, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your skills and dedication make a meaningful difference every day here in our assisted living facility. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with state healthcare regulations and facility policies Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status regularly to detect any changes requiring attention Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including medication records, care plans, and incident reports using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as QuickMar Assist residents with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, and daily living tasks while respecting their dignity and preferences Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate comprehensive resident care plans Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines by maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments with geriatric or disabled populations Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as QuickMar for accurate documentation and record keeping Excellent communication skills for caregiving and caregiver communication; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of state Board of Nursing regulations and compliance standards related to medication management and senior careJoin us in delivering exceptional resident-centered care!
