Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration and caregiving, with a passion for providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and document patient responses to medications
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
• Maintain accurate medication records and reports
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

Requirements:

• Would appreciate experience in medication administration, caregiving, or related fields such as medical office, hospice care, home care, or acute care but no degree needed!
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration
• Experience with electronic health records systems like BlueStep is a plus
