Medication Technician / Caregiver

Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely following all HIPAA regulations and medical documentation protocols Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to ensure optimal health status Support individuals with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and hospice care Maintain detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems like Epic or Cerner Provide compassionate caregiving tailored to each person's unique needs, including tube feeding and catheter care when necessary Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate medication management based on medical terminology and physiology knowledge Skills Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments Strong understanding of medical procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and tube feeding Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient records Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's or dementia Excellent caregiving skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Prior experience in hospice or memory care settings is highly valued Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care!
