Job Overview:
Streamside Assisted Living and Memory Care is a premier senior living community that is seeking experienced Med Techs that would be responsible for carrying out ADL services to residents in accordance with their service plan and to properly administer medication in accordance with policy and procedures. This would include providing personal care for all residents, communicating with medical professionals and families about the needs of the residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Essential Functions Communicating in English with all residents, families and visitors. Must be self-motivated and can work independently and take direction from nurses Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented Pleasant, professional and personal manner Duties Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Administer medications following proper protocols.
  • Assist with ADL's.
  • Provide compassionate care to residents in our setting.
  • Maintaining required training
  • Utilize the EMAR system for medical record documentation.
  • Support senior care initiatives within the facility. Supervision Reports to the Director of Nursing and Residential Care Director Education Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Qualifications
  • Medication Administration Certificate from an accredited program
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation
  • Experience in patient care and medication administration
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
