Job Description
Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medication Technician/Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to residents across assisted living, and memory care facilities. This energetic position involves assisting with medications, assisting with daily activities, and supporting individuals with diverse needs, including those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and disabilities. Your efforts will help enhance quality of life and promote independence for those in your care. T Responsibilities Safely assist resident with prescribed medications following all protocol Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support in accordance with individual care plans Monitor vital signs and observe changes in health status, promptly reporting any concerns to nursing staff or supervisors Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, including medication logs and care notes Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities is highly preferred Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's or dementia Ability to accurately measure vital signs Certification as a Medication Technician in the state of Idaho Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with facility nurse and administrator Please apply if you're passionate about providing top-tier senior care and making a positive impact on lives every day!
