In this role, you will assist residents with medication management, daily living activities, and personalized care while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Safely assist with and administer prescribed medications in accordance with Idaho regulations, facility policies, and established protocols. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents, including those living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive and physical challenges. Monitor residents' vital signs and overall well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff or facility leadership. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including medication records, care notes, and updates within Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems. Encourage resident independence while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment. Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and administrators. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality resident care. Qualifications & Requirements Current Idaho Medication Technician certification or other applicable state-recognized medication assistance qualification required. Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care strongly preferred. Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments is a plus. Ability to accurately measure and document vital signs. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Familiarity with electronic medical documentation systems preferred.
