Medication Aides are responsible for providing services to patients as directed by the nursing plan of care and/or nursing supervisor.- Responsible for dispensing, administration, monitoring and documentation of medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized healthcare provider and in accordance with scope of practice and facility policy
- Responsible for reporting on the condition of patient/client to the appropriate supervisor and other staff members.
- Responsible for performing tasks that are within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by the policies and procedures of Kirtland, and other local, state, and federal guidelines; and the policies of the facility requesting the services.
