Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications accurately following physician orders and established protocols Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns promptly Maintain detailed medical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Perform catheter care, tube feeding, and other medical procedures under supervision of nursing staff Record and communicate patient observations clearly in medical records and reports Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures Experience using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation Knowledge of medical records management and vital signs monitoring Background in caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including Alzheimer's or dementia patients Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those requiring hospice or memory care services Certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) or equivalent licensure required; ongoing training in medical documentation and HIPAA compliance is essential Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering compassionate, expert care.
