Job Description

Skilled Nursing:
Part-Time 4pm-10pm The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. Additionally, the CMA takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living. The CMA must monitor patients to report changes in the patients' conditions. May administer prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with company policy and procedure under the direction of a licensed nurse. Assures that the residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints, are well established and maintained at all times.
