Medication Specialist Granada House Inc - 3.0 Allston, MA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $22 - $24 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Filing Drug therapy monitoring Database management Medication supplies Document review Full Job Description The Granada House (a men's residential substance use disorder treatment program) is hiring for a temporary or temp-to-permanent medication specialist positions for 5 shifts per week. Medication specialists are responsible for management of client medication storage, database and document organization, client interventions, prescriber communications, and policy and procedure review. You will be trained in-house, and scheduled to complete paid virtual training in mid-late September. The known range of need for this position is 4 weeks, starting in early September. At the conclusion of this assignment, we may have this or another employment opportunity with Granada House. Our work environment is a comfortable, domestic setting, as part of a collegial, friendly team of professionals. We have some flexibility with the hours, but we are looking for 5 consecutive days, ideally 10a - 6p, though other options may be available.
Duties include:
Can pass a CORI check based on DPH regulations Hard counts of medications, review of staff medication observations, Investigate and report discrepancies Investigate and file incident reports Secure provider / prescriber releases Prescriber communication Destruction and inventory of medication Intervene with clients for medication compliance issues. 2 professional references and employment verification required. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
